Allergie

Il termine allergia significa letteralmente "reazione abnorme ". Le allergie non sono altro che una reazione eccessiva da parte del corpo a sostanze che solitamente sono innocue. Esempi tipici sono le allergie ad acari della polvere, raffreddore da fieno e allergie alimentari. Il sistema immunitario considera talune sostanze quali intruse, contro le quali si deve giustamente "armare" provocando una reazione da ipersensibilità in forme diverse.
